Job Opening -- EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR!

Position Description:

New Life Ministries, Inc. (NLM) is seeking an experienced, mission-driven, collaborative innovative leader and manager to fill the role of Executive Director (ED). Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for planning and executing the Ministry’s mission including administration, finance, operations, staff development, donor and volunteer development, internal and external programs, and future growth/expansion. The ED should have or demonstrate ability to develop a deep knowledge of our field with respect not only to all facets of faith-based non-profits, but also to national radio Christian broadcasting operations, programming and business planning.

The ED will have demonstrated success managing a staff of at least one to five (1-5) team members (paid, unpaid, employees, volunteers). The successful candidate will demonstrate portfolio experience including annual, planned, major gifts and directed campaign fundraising as well as strong initiative, collaboration and management skills with staff and board of directors. As ED, you will serve as the brand ambassador and champion of NLM & WNLR in the community This includes connecting and collaborating with a wide range of demographics, business owners, individual donors/supporters, community leaders, associations, churches and Christian based ministries, and our executive board of directors.

Employer Overview:  New Life Ministries, Inc., is the parent 501(c)3 nonprofit that owns and operates WNLR 1150 AM New Life Radio, a local Christian talk and teaching radio station headquartered in the central Shenandoah Valley since 1981. We broadcast a Christian talk and teaching format worldwide with a local AM frequency/transmitter and global internet streaming. Our local AM frequency serves the central Shenandoah Valley of Virginia including, but not limited to, the Staunton, Augusta County and Rockingham County areas.
